Pay Rate: £14.00 – £17.00 per hour (dependent on skills and experience)
Hours: TBC
We are looking for a skilled Press Brake Operator to join a well-established fabrication company in Chippenham. If you have experience operating press brake machines and working with sheet metal, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting up and operating press brake machines to bend and form metal sheets
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
- Adjusting machine settings to achieve precise bends and angles
- Inspecting finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards
- Carrying out basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting issues
- Working collaboratively to meet production targets and deadlines
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a similar metal fabrication role
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Experience with CNC press brake machines is an advantage
- Good attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
